PKR WAS VULGAR AND OBSCENE AT KELANA JAYA STADIUM

Anwar launched his first road show Sunday, 6 July 2008 at Kelana Jaya Stadium. It was claimed that about 10,000 people attended this program but unfortunately something awful happen caused by an excited singer who did something which angered the crowd. It was learnt that the singer also sang a song that included lyrics making fun at the sodomy allegations against Anwar Ibrahim. Many described that the act by this singer was uncalled for because there were children present too. Reportedly, the event coordinator, Hishamuddin Rais, appeared on stage to apologise.

This incident might look insignificant to PKR supporters and therefore, could be dismissable. After all, it happened before Maghrib prayers. Unfortunately , the PAS youths and supporters were not at all amused with what they saw. They decided to take matters in their hands by beating the singer. It was a great pity .In the first place, why did they invite this musical band? If it was to pull the crowd, there were many other ways to do it. Maybe the organizer was only prepared to look for a cheaper alternative.

Wira felt that the PKR organizer did not know his priority. He lost his sense of direction and messed up the whole program. It finally turned out to be an exercise of vulgarity. The show left behind a very negative impression upon those who witnessed it , sadly held in a Malay- dominated housing estate of Petaling Jaya.
