Someone met Lim Kit Siang (DAP) in the flight bound for Penang this morning. LKS appeared relaxed and engrossed reading a Chinese newspaper. Having extended some pleasanteries, LKS responded politely. When asked whether LKS is coming to campaign in Permatang Pauh, he just smiled approvingly.
As both left their economy seats, someone mentioned that Hadi wanted to become PM. LKS curtly answered that 'everyone wants to become PM'. LKS just walked on and somebody stopped by to shake hand with him. Apparently, a Malay PKR person welcomed him but LKS showed no remorse.
LKS then waited for his luggage. But his mind appeared to be floating elsewhere. He might be thinking what he is going to do next?
What happened at PAS youth conference in Ipoh and the call for Hadi to become PM would have made every PKR member, including, LKS rather distressful. It is odd for PAS to give wrong signals especially, when PKR is facing a bye -election in Permatang Pauh on 26 August. PAS should show more patience and respect for PKR and DAP, as a united front, which if not properly managed, could fall apart.
