DAP PENANG TEACHES IMAM TO BE ARROGANT

BY: MM

DAP, Penang, continues to exploit the sensitivity of Muslims in the state. This time it skillfully delved on abusing the sermon (khutbah) on 20 August 2010. The Penang government unnecessarily invited anger among Muslims.

On that day the Imam (Khatib), recited the sermon emitting the king's name and replacing it by the name of the Penang Chief Minister (MP/ADUN).

This phenomena appeared elementary to non-Muslims but it was not for all Muslims at large. Some personalities especially from PAS casually gave a card blanche to this as if the Imam could mention whoever he chose, including the chief minister, in his sermon. An opposition newsletter further considered such a sermon as a call for the PR to buck up.

These are all wrong and misleading views coming from opposition leaders who interpreted things according to their whims and fancies.

The Imam had realized that he had done wrong but short of repenting or apologizing. Imam portrayed his arrogance and stubborness which were not examplary to the Muslims in the country. Didn't he realize that he was preaching wrongness and bad influeces to the younger generation?

Wake up Imam, and repent. so that you would be a better Muslim preacher or you will face the wrath of the Providence.
