Ex premier Tun Dr.Mahathir never changed. This time, Tun’s sharpness was just like when he was in 1982. Tun still has the intellectual agility and clarity of thoughts when he partook in the Bicara Rakyat or People’s Discourse organised by the Special Affairs Department or JASA of Ministry of Information, Communication and Culture at Yayasan perdana Putrajaya, Monday September 2011. Tun when quizzed by three wellknown journalists and a professor gave incisive responses on current issues both domestic and global communism. Tun urged the populace to be aware of the failures, atrocities and cruelties of authoritarian states under communist banners. Malaysia under BN has practised democracy since 1957 and the rakyat are happy. They rejected communism and CPM, which wanted to seize Malaya then through armed struggle.
